The peninsula is located on the outskirts of a small fish town, Agia Pelagia, which is a short 15min walk from the hotel. In the town, you will find numerous shops, bars, taverns and cafes. Below we have rounded up a few nearby attractions and activities that are worth exploring:
Discover the traditional village of Fodele, only a 10min drive from the resort. There are numerous reasons to visit Fodele. One is the natural setting – a true oasis. The village lies within large orange, mandarine, lemon and olive groves famous for the top quality. Take it all in on a scenic hike to the monastery of Panteleimon. Tradition has it that the artist, Domenicos Theotokopoulos, otherwise known as ‘El Greco’, was born here. You will find a small museum, and underneath a one thousand-year-old plane tree near the village square, the memorial dedicated to him.
Rent a boat from the Blue Water Club here! Enjoy a fun ride and discover beautiful, secluded beaches that are only accessible via the water. Anyone can be the ‘captain’ since there is no obligation to be a license holder to ride the vessel. Of course, if you prefer, a crew member can join you and take you on a tour of the neighbouring bays. Set off from Tsimento Beach Bar. Ask for more information at the Front Desk or via the link below.
